Sales Manager – Direct Hire
Rogers, MN
Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill a Direct Hire Sales Manager role with a company in Rogers, MN. Interested candidates should have proven outside sales and management experience, strong relationship building skills and be a strategic, long-term thinker who understands sales operations and processes.
Sales Manager Job Description:
  • Quickly build a rapport with new stakeholders and develop long-term relationships.
  • Providing influential presentations in person or via web meetings.
  • Leverage the list of accounts and probable buyers, hunting for new logos, and new inbound prospects from calls, website traffic and trade shows.
  • Generate interest with key stakeholders to procure discovery conversations or meetings at multiple levels throughout the organization.
  • Ask effective questions & actively listen to uncover the customer’s current situation (problems, desired situation, business drivers, needs & decision-making processes).
  • Understand company’s value proposition and competitive advantages in order to effectively differentiate and sell the value of the solution in a competitive market.
  • Price validation on customer’s daily purchase orders.
  • Analyze, prepare, and provide customer price quotes.
  • Provide direct management of staffing in the sales department.
  • Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.
  • Reach out to customers for additional opportunities as directed in the sales process.
  • Manage and process a qualified pipeline of opportunities by prioritizing assigned accounts and prospects.
  • Close profitable deals from existing and new customers.
Sales Manager Job Requirement:
  • Demonstrated success closing new business -- meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Sales experience in a Manufacturing setting (plastics experience preferred)
  • Experience tracking and accurately managing sales information.
  • PC Proficiency (Microsoft Office) required.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The starting salary for the Sales Manager position is $75k-$80k annually plus uncapped commissions and company profit sharing.
